湖北教育出版社是一家以教材教辅、经典阅读、书法文化教育、学术文化、音乐教育、英语教育出版等为特色的综合性出版社。
近年来，充分挖掘和利用在教育领域的资源优势，以传统文化和地域文化出版为抓手，推动图书版权输出， 探索出了一条符合教育出版“走出去”的创新之路。目前已累计输出图书 41 种(套)129 册，共计 347 项版权 至美国、俄罗斯、法国、埃及、马来西亚、印度、委内瑞拉、吉尔吉斯斯坦等国家和地区 ; 《中国孩子的梦》等 14 种(套) 20 册图书入选“经典中国国际出版工程”和“丝路书香工程”等资助项目 ;2017 年获评“全国版 权示范单位”称号 ;2018 年 7 月，在埃及成立了“长江传媒中埃编辑部”，2019 年 11 月，“长江传媒东南亚出版 中心”在马来西亚揭牌。
Hubei Education Press is a comprehensive publishing house specializing in the publication of textbooks, teaching materials, and titles in relation to classic literature, calligraphy & cultural education, academic culture, music education, and English language education, among others.
In recent years, it has fully exploited its superior resources in education, focused on publications about traditional and regional culture, and made efforts to promote the export of copyrighted books, developing an innovative path of presenting educational publications to the rest of the world. To date, it has exported a total of 41 titles comprising 129 volumes, with a total of 347 copyrights being sold to publishers in countries and regions including the United States, Russia, France, Egypt, Malaysia, India, Venezuela, and Kyrgyzstan, etc. Fourteen titles comprising 20 volumes, including Chinese Children's Dreams, have been included in the programs such as Classic China International Publishing Program and the Silk Road Book Project. In 2017, it was awarded the title of National Copyright Demonstration Unit. In July 2018, the Changjiang Media China-Egypt Editorial Office was established in Egypt. In November 2019, the Changjiang Media Southeast Asian Publishing Center was inaugurated in Malaysia.
