　　襄阳位于鄂、豫、渝、陕毗邻地区，处在我国南北饮食文化的交汇和转换的轴心。由于它七省通衢的特殊地理位置，因而在饮食上的兼容性很强，既有楚乡传统，又蕴藏着中原精华。人们的食物组成较为齐全，日常膳食花样繁多，然而却从来没有一部系统的美食纪录片，能够记录下人们的烹饪日常以及饮食文化在襄阳的传承。襄阳市商务局和襄阳广播电视台联手打造《知味襄阳》，就是以弘扬汉江流域餐饮文化为宗旨，以提升本土餐饮文化品位为己任，以倡导健康、环保、绿色的文明餐饮为目的，把兼收并蓄、博采众长的襄阳美食，首次系

　　

　　统且完整地展现出来，以填补襄阳美食文化的遗憾和空白。《知味襄阳》十集内容跨越四季，展现了时令的不同，饮食的差异，整个拍摄制作周期耗时整整一年，系统记录下襄阳美食发展历程，遍访了在襄阳所有可以拜访到的美食名家和烹饪大师，从街头巷尾的市井小吃，到鲜为人知的珍稀食材。《知味襄阳》拍摄的人物、故事有四十来个，平凡故事背后，是襄阳人在美食之上和美食之外的的功夫，是襄阳人的踏实精神，对待一顿普通家常饭菜虔诚的态度，看到他们对生活的热爱坚守，这正是襄阳这座城市两千多年来依然保持活力、生生不息的的根源。

　　

　　Locating at the juncture of Hubei, Henna, ChongQing and ShanXi province, XiangYang is the converging point of the North-South food culture. This special geometrical position has made XiangYang a place of compatibility in terms of food culture. Essence of the cooking culture from both Hubei and the Northern Area can be seen in XiangYang. With a rather balanced diet, delicacies in XiangYang come in different forms. Nevertheless, there is no systematic documentary produced to record the daily bite and sup and the food culture in XiangYang. The XiangYang Commercial Bureau and the XiangYang Radio and Television have therefore, produced the food documentary called 'Knowing XiangYang' in alliance to promote the food culture in XiangYang. 　　dining environment. For the very first time, the compatibility of the food culture in XiangYang is completely revealed to the world, filling up the empty space of a long-awaited food documentary. This ten-episode documentary has spanned across the four seasons, showing the distinct beauty

　　

　　of every season and the difference in food culture. The filming and production took an entire year to complete. It has systematically recorded the development of the food culture in XiangYang while visiting cooking masters and food experts in street corners and through the searching of some rarely known delicacies. A total of 40 men and stories was filmed in this documentary, showing the passion and spirit behind every undistinguished figure in XiangYang. XiangYang citizens are so devoted to their home-cooked and daily meal, that the commitment to their everyday life has become the key to the vigour and vitality of the city.
