　　据统计，全省现有广播电视台 86 座，开办公共广播节目 98 套、公共电视节目 114 套，广播、电视综合人口覆盖率达 99.99%，互联网传播视听节目持证机构 73 家，广播电视节目制作经营机构 798 家，从业人员共计 3.68 万人。

　　湖北广播电视台、湖北长江广电传媒集团连续两年获评“中国文化企业 30 强”。 《湖北新闻》《长江新闻号》等多档品牌新闻栏目立足湖北、放眼全球，《麋鹿》《金丝猴》《楚国八百年》等一批优秀纪录片饮誉世界，《铁血红安》《东方战场》《又见红叶》《西柏坡的警钟》《你和我的倾城时光》等一批精品电视剧享誉全国, 《我为喜剧狂》《如果爱》《非正式会谈》《戏码头》等一批综艺节目雄霸市场，电视、广播、新媒体综合实力均位列全国第一方阵。

　　湖北广电科技创新力度持续加大，广电融媒体建设不断提速。长江云致力打造云融媒体集群，构建省市县三级信息资源共享、互联互通的全媒体融合生产系统 ;湖北广电网络与启迪云计算有限公司签署战略合作协议，围绕智慧城市、人工智能、物联网等领域全面合作。“掌上武汉”“见微”“黄鹤云”等全媒体平台立足本地，辐射全国，新媒体矩阵初具规模。湖北大力推进新一轮有线数字电视整体转换，网络双向化、智能化改造和互联网宽带增值业务开发步伐加快。省广电网络干线 100G传输链路和省到地市IP骨干网互联工程等顺利实施。

　　Radio and Television Administration of Hubei Province is a an organization directly under People’s Government of Hubei Province and responsible for overseeing affairs related to radio and TV in the whole province. In recent years, as reformations and development in the radio and television industry of Hubei are deepening and getting rapid, the media industry of Hubei now stands out among other states in the country. With upgrades executed in infrastructure and public services, enormous strides was made in the production of premium products and the"going global" strategy.

　　According to statistics, there are currently 86 radio and television stations in Hubei Province. It broadcasts 98 public radio programs and 114 public television programs, covering 99.99% of the population of the province. There are 73 licensed institutions for internet audiovisual programs, 798 organizations engaged in radio and television program production and operation, employing a total of 36,800 individuals.

The shows like ‘I Am Crazy about Comedy’ (Wo Wei Xiju Kuang), ‘Perhaps Love’ (Ruguo Ai), ‘Informal Talks’ and ‘Chinese traditional opera stage’ (Xi Matou) are dominating the market. Strength of Hubei's TV, radio and new media ranks top across the country.

　　Hubei radio and television industry has been increasing its effort in scientific and technological innovation, and is accelerating in integrated media development. Changjiang Cloud is committed to building a cloud-based integrated media cluster and an integrated media production system for the sharing and interconnection of information resources at provincial, municipal, and county levels.

　　Hubei Radio & Television Information Network Co., Ltd. and Tuscloud Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement, focusing on cooperation in smart cities, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and other areas. Media platforms such as "Wuhan in Hand" app, plive. appwuhan.com, and whtv.com.cn are all based in Wuhan and are stimulating the media development across China. A new media matrix is taking shape in Wuhan. Hubei has been vigorously driving forward a new round of full-scale upgrades in cable digital television, and is accelerating the bi-directional and intelligent transformation of networks and the development of broadband Internet value-added services. Construction of 100G backbone networks in the province and the province-to-city/prefecture IP backbone network interconnection project are successfully implemented.
