Modern drama：temporary ward
Operated by：Hubei Provincial Performing Arts Group
The modern drama Temporary Ward depicts a very hot summer when the conference room was turned into a temporary ward shared by an old village woman and an old gentleman living in urban areas due to sharp increase of the number of patients. The old village woman was careless and unconcerned while the old gentlemen was pedantic and stubborn. They were highly incompatible due to different life experiences, diverse inner concerns and divergent realistic demands, but they had to live together temporarily in the same ward. As a result, interesting stories happened, bringing about mingled feelings of sorrow and joy. The simple story demonstrated tension on the basis of lived experience, achieving wonderful spiritual communication, emotional exchange and aesthetic recognition among the audience. It aroused a strong resonance among the audience, created beautiful feelings and brought about spiritual comfort.
