　　Based on the representative national security officials and soldiers before and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, this play portrays a number of national security heroes such as Zhang Hanchao, Yang Cheng, Wang Lisheng and Li Wenlei. From eliminating the murderers who premeditated to harm the party and government leaders of the country at the early liberation to tactfully defusing the crisis of “Shelling Tiananmen Square” before the first anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China; from defensing against the assassination plans of enemy agents lurking in the old forces to stubbornly tracking and killing gold killers among enemy agents; from cracking the intrigue of reactionary forces trying to blow up the “Mao Zedong Special Train” to digging out the enemy agents' intelligence network threatening the heart of the People's Republic of China; from obtaining key information at the forefront of fight against the enemy after the founding of the People's Republic of China to cutting off the last link of the enemy agents' flow, with great wisdom and courage, they met the challenge with a smile, and fought bravely with the group of special agents headed by Mao Renfeng, director of the Kuomintang Secrecy Bureau, heading off a danger every time.
