　　Constellation Introduction by Liu Xingshi, is general education-oriented comic book designed for the popularization of science among children aged 7 to 10. It is created by Liu Shixing (a well-known writer of popular science-oriented literature and a geologist), reviewed and recommended by Professor Zhang Tongjie (a professor of the Astronomy Department at Beijing Normal University and the only Chinese member of the IAA SETI Committee), and highly recommended by Mr. Bian Yulin (an astronomer and a famous writer of popular science-oriented literature). As a comic book designed for the popularization of constellation-related scientific knowledge among children, it combines astronomy, geography and culture and helps children to develop astronomical mindset and temporal and spatial concepts.

　　It consists of four volumes which are Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and describes the typical constellations that can be observed on the sky over the Northern Hemisphere, including the Orion, Gemini, Leo, Ursa Major and Bootes, etc. Furthermore, it provides scientific knowledge about the shape of the constellations, stars forming the constellations, nebulas, galaxies and star clusters, introduces constellations-related knowledge in ancient times in China and the rest of the world by tracing the origins, and elaborates moving legends, fairy tales, verses, ditties, odes and songs in relation to the constellations. By using straightforward and rigorous expressions, excellent texts, elaborate pictures and vivid language to describe the constellations in the field of astronomy, it aims to help young readers to have a general understanding of the charm of the constellations and to arouse their interest in exploring the vast universe.
