　　该片拟按六集、240分钟制作完成，将是长江大保护实施以来首部全局性反映长江全流域各省市、尤其是湖北省重要保护成果的大制作。

　　全片力求以感人的故事、珍贵的镜头、生动的记述，通过对长江江豚这一珍稀水生野生动物的保护，反映五年多来，长江生物多样性的重大变化、重点保护区的重大成果、沿江城市治理理念的重大变化、新时代长江渔文化的演变、江豚如何与城市共生并成为城市品牌等。

　　本项目以长江大保护为背景，坚持社会效益为主，规模大、投资大、所涉流域广、参与部门多、社会影响深远，是反映长江大保护成果具有典型代表意义的大型公益性项目。

　　This is planned to be a six-episode documentary with a total 240-minute run time, about the effort to preserve the Yangtze finless porpoises. It will be the first major documentary to record the results of the Great Yangtze Preservation project in regions passed by the Yangtze, particularly the achievements of Hubei.

　　The series will use the preservation of Yangtze finless porpoises, an endangered riverine mammal, as a lens to examine the results of environmental protection in the recent five years, including growths in Yangtze biodiversity, major works in key regions, changing philosophies of governance in riverside cities, developments in fishing industries and their cultures, and how porpoises become an iconic symbol of local cities.

　　This is a large-scale public service media project with significant support in both funding and assistance from agencies across wide regions. It will contribute to the Great Yangtze Preservation project through promotion of its social benefits.
