　　大型音乐舞蹈诗《编钟乐舞》作为中国文化名片，被誉为“古典乐舞的里程碑式作品”。作品以伟大诗人屈原的爱国主义思想为核心，用歌、乐、舞相结合的艺术形式，将曾侯乙墓出土的编钟、编磬、建鼓等数十件古乐器仿制品同台演奏。“金、石、丝、竹、匏、土、革、木”，八音合鸣，重奏千古绝唱。辉煌呈现了古代楚国文化艺术、风俗民情、祭祀、农事、征战及宫廷宴乐等情景，把古代荆楚人民的艺术风貌、盛楚乐章历史地再现于舞台。该项目首演于1983年，已演出1000余场，出访过美国、加拿大、新加坡、卢森堡、日本、香港、台湾等57个国家或地区。2016年春节期间编钟国乐团随习近平主席赴埃及参加中埃文化交流年开幕式;2016年5月赴澳大利亚巡演;2017年7月随习主席赴德国参加G20峰会作为“感知中国·德国行”系列文化活动亮相;2018年4月习主席和印度总理莫迪在湖北省博物馆会晤，编钟国乐团再次作为指定表演团体，为两国领导人献上了一份音乐的饕餮盛宴;2019年2月参加文旅部主办的“欢乐春节”品牌交流活动，赴美国5个城市表演;2019年9月参加湖北省与美国建立友好省州关系40周年纪念演出活动。

　　The large-scale musical The Imperial Bells of China is regarded as a Chinese cultural social card and is known as "a landmark work of classical music and dance". The work is based on the patriotism of the great poet Qu Yuan, and uses a combination of song, music and dance to perform dozens of imitations of ancient musical instruments such as chimes and drums unearthed from the tomb of Zeng Houyi. The sounds of the eight materials of gold, stone, silk, bamboo, bamboo, earth, leather, and wood sing together, repeating the eternal masterpiece. The project brilliantly presents scenes of ancient Chu culture and art, customs, sacrificial sacrifices, agricultural affairs, battles and court banquets, etc., and reproduces the artistic features of the ancient Jingchu people and the historically prosperous Chu music on the stage. The project premiered in 1983 and has performed more than 1,000 times. It has visited 57 countries or regions including the United States, Canada, Singapore, Luxembourg, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. During the Spring Festival of 2016, it accompanied President Xi Jinping to Egypt to participate in the opening ceremony of the China-Egypt Cultural Exchange Year. In May 2016, it toured Australia. In July 2017, it accompanied President Xi to Germany to participate in the G20 Summit. In April 2018, President Xi and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met at the Hubei Provincial Museum. The Imperial Bells of China Orchestra once again served as a designated performance group to present a gluttonous feast of music for the leaders of the two countries. In February 2019, it participated in the "Happy Spring Festival" event hosted by the China Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and went to 5 cities in the United States to perform. In September 2019, it participated in the performance to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the sister province-state relationship between Hubei Province and Ohio, USA.
