　　《茶经》由被誉为“茶圣”的陆羽所著，成书于唐代建中元年(公元780年)。陆羽(733-约804)，字鸿渐，复州竟陵(今湖北天门)人。他是唐代著名的茶学家，一生倾心于茶学，醉心于茶艺，精心于茶道。作为中国乃至世界第一部关于茶的专著，《茶经》全面叙述了栽茶、采茶、制茶、饮茶、产茶、录茶、咏茶等丰富内容，开创了中国茶道和为茶“著书立学”的先河，其历史文化价值至今无人超越。

　　The Book of Tea was wrote by Lu Yu, who was called as “ Tea Sage”, and finished in Jianzhong period ( AD 780) in Tang Dynasty. Lu Yu (733--About 804), also referred as Hongjian, the native of Jingling (Tianmen of Hubei at present). He was a famous tea scholar in Tang Dynasty. During his life, he devoted to researching tea science, tea art and tea ceremony. The book is well known as the initial classic of tea in China, even over the world. It also involves abundant tea culture , such as tea planting, tea harvesting, tea making, tea drinking, tea producing, tea collection and also poetry of tea. It made an innovation in tea literary field depending on creating literary works encircle with tea ceremony, and created great cultural values in history.
