　　《老子》，又称《道德经》，是一部著名的道家经典，相传为春秋(公元前770-公元前476)末期楚国人老聃所著。据《史记》记载，老子姓李名耳，楚苦县厉乡曲仁里人，为周守藏室之史，孔子曾向他问礼。《老子》全书共81章，是老聃哲学思想的结晶，其核心内容是“道”。老子认为“道”是宇宙的本源，它独立于任何其他的东西之外，而且不断地发生变化，周而复始。“德”则是“道”的展开，是“道”在人生、社会和政治生活中的具体应用。

　　Lao Zi, also called as Dao De Jing, is a famous classic Toism literature, according to the legend, it was created by Lao Dan in (AD 776--AD476) in the late of Spring and Autumn Period.

　　As History Records recorded, Lao Zi , his family name is Li, surname is Er, a native of Qurenli, Li Town of Chuku county. Ever, he took charge of official library, and Confucius consulted him ever while visiting Zhou State.

　　In Lao Zi, there are totally 81 chapters, all of which are the essence of Lao Dan’s Philosophy concepts, taking “Toism”as the core. As he thought, “Toism” is the basis of the universe, and independent from others, and also constantly changing and circling all the time. “De” is the extent of “Toism”, also the influence in life, community and politic.
