　　中国现代长篇小说是20世纪中国文学创作中最有实绩的部门，也是最有影响力的文学体裁之一。一大批闪闪发光的名字与五彩斑斓的作品如同一道彩虹，映在中国新文学这片绚丽的天空中。然而，由于时代等多种因素的影响，中国现代长篇小说的发展史貌，学界至今没有详尽的论述。因此，当“还原”与“呈现”成为学界的主潮时，当国家及高校的数据库建设日益完善，为此提供了更大的可能时，编撰《中国现代长篇小说编年史》也就非常必要了。本书系收录1922年2月15日—1949年9月30日在中国出版的长篇小说及相关评论、广告的编年体长篇小说史。凡在此期间公开出版发行的各类长篇小说，报刊上相关的创作言论、评论文字、广告，以及时人书信、日记等均在收录范围之内。

　　The modern Chinese full-length novels are the most substantial sector in Chinese literary production in the 20th century and one of the most influential literary genres. A large number of glittering names and colorful works are reflected in the gorgeous sky of new Chinese literature like a rainbow. However, due to the influence of various factors such as the times, there is no exhaustive account of the developmental history of the modern Chinese full-length novels in academic circles. Therefore, when "restoration" and "presentation" have become the main trend in the academic world, and when the database of the country and the universities are becoming more and more perfect, which provides greater possibilities for this purpose, it is very necessary to compile the Chronicle of Modern Chinese Full-length Novels. This book is a chronological history of full-length novels published in China from February 15, 1922 to September 30, 1949, along with related reviews and advertisements. All kinds of full-length novels published and distributed publicly during this period, related creative remarks, critical texts and advertisements in newspapers and magazines, as well as letters and diaries of the time are included in this book.
